Founder and Owner

Luis L. Orellana is the founder and owner of Luis Orellana Investigations. His career began in 1990 when he became a P.O.S.T. (Peace Officer Standards and Training) Certified Criminal/Crime Scene Investigator (CSI) and then transitioned into Loss Prevention where he held a Regional Management position for one of the largest security and investigative companies in the United States. He has been instrumental in developing Loss Prevention programs and was a pioneer in developing some of the first investigative divisions against Organized Retail Crime (ORC).

In 2002 he began his career in private investigations working for a national investigation company and in 2006 obtaining his California Private Investigators license #25241. During that time he has worked cases involving celebrities and other high profile clients. He has been involved in investigations leading to the arrest and convictions of several Organized Retail Crime (ORC) suspects with property recoveries of over 10 million. He also has conducted homicide investigations, missing persons investigations along with many other type of investigations . For a period of four years he conducted fatal and non-fatal accident investigations for a world wide company. Currently he conducts copyright and trademark infringement investigations along with product counterfeiting investigations for a world wide company. He also conducts security consultation for federal facilities and private companies.
